Abstract

KHS is German Company and is considered as a technological leader in filling and packaging technology throughout the beverage industry.The market position of KHS as an innovator has risen by recent developments including innovative modular, packaging solutions, universal filling systems, high performance labeling technology, cutting edge communication and diagnostic technologies and much more.But even after such a highly reputed MNC, it is suffering through one of the very common and major problem "REWORKS". So the aim of whole poster is to reduce the reworks, reduce the loss of labor hours, reduce cost and increase the productivity. The poster analyze the problem through Quality tool such PARETO CHARTS and the chart identified the components having highest frequency of reworks. Then the reason and causes for its repeatibility were found out with the help of WHY-WHY analysis chart. Questionnaire was formed and data about rework were taken from the head of department,KHS. Then with help of ISHIKAWA or CAUSE AND EFFECT DIAGRAM all the causes of the rework were identified . Some very highly influential and effective reason were chosen and worked upon and solutions and suggestion were provided . This reduced the frequency of reworks in the company and productivity increases.
