The plastic packaging industry in Peru represents a strategic sector that is highly economically and technologically relevant, but it faces critical limitations associated with the low availability of its equipment, especially in the PET bottle blow molding process. In this context, the analyzed company, classified as an MSE under the B2B model, presents an average availability level of 86.30%, below the international standard of 90%, generating significant economic losses and affecting its competitiveness. To address this problem, a diagnosis based on productivity indicators was carried out and a systematic literature review was conducted in academic databases, identifying Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) as the main solution tools. The proposal consists of integrating autonomous and planned maintenance and mold change time reduction techniques, using MTBF and MTTR indicators. The expected results include increasing availability, reducing maintenance costs, optimizing downtime, and improving order fulfillment.
