The Peruvian industrial graphic sector, particularly offset printing companies serving the pharmaceutical industry, faces increasing demands for complete and on-time deliveries under strict quality standards. However, On Time In Full (OTIF) compliance rates are observed near 84%, below competitive benchmarks of around 93%, while Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) values hover around 65%, affected by availability and quality losses. This technical gap translates into high setup times, unplanned downtime, and rework that limits productivity. In response, this paper proposes an integrated improvement model linking OEE increases to OTIF improvements through the combined application of SMED, preventive maintenance, and standardized work in printing and finishing lines of the Peruvian pharmaceutical graphic sector. The model is evaluated through discrete-event simulation in Arena and pilot validation. Results show a 48.8% reduction in print setup time and an increase in OTIF from 79.1% to 96.4%, accompanied by OEE improvements through reduced availability losses and defects.
