This article addresses the problem of low order fulfillment levels in a Peruvian company dedicated to the production of herbal infusions, caused by the lack of structured planning of materials and processes. The study proposes the design and implementation of an integrated planning system based on MPS and MRP tools, which synchronizes demand, procurement, and production. To achieve this, a process engineering methodology was applied, complemented by statistical analysis and simulation tools to validate the effectiveness of the proposed model. The results show a 13.6% increase in labor productivity, an improvement in the order fulfillment indicator (OTIF) from 80% to 95%, and a significant reduction in stockouts. In addition, positive social effects were observed, reflected in higher employee satisfaction and improved training, thereby strengthening organizational sustainability. In conclusion, the implementation of the MPS–MRP system enhanced operational efficiency, increased profitability, and fostered a work culture based on planning and continuous improvement.
