Abstract
Use of sustainable hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) has become essential to reduce fuel dependency as fossil fuels are limited for us. The mentioned vehicles are new energy vehicles, which are hybrid electric vehicles/plug-in electric vehicles (PHEVs), electric batteries (BEVs), and fuel cell vehicles (FCVs). The purpose of this paper is the development of more efficient hybrid electric vehicles and a definite solution to current mobility issues. Identification of environmental, economic, and technological impacts as well as potential for sustainability in using hybrid vehicles instead of the traditional fuel-powered vehicles. This is an exploratory study of the exploration by dependence on fossil fuels and increase in energy efficiency through hybrid technology with their feasibility, market acceptance, and all progress towards global sustainability goals. The research conducted a quantitative research method for collecting data based on an online survey of candidates across Bangladesh. The survey was conducted online, focusing on diverse demographics to ensure inclusivity across age, gender and income levels. The survey contains both closed and open-ended types of questions on attitudes, public awareness, and fondness concerning hybrid vehicles. The collected data was analyzed to recognize the trends and key factors influencing the adoption of hybrid vehicles in Bangladesh. The study shows that around 70%-80% respondents are expected to consider hybrid vehicles as advance in transportation alternation. Furthermore 70%-75% may favor them over traditional fuel vehicles.60%-65% people are expected to show interest to invest in premium models because of fuel efficiency benefits. The research shows that the majority of the respondents have support for hybrid vehicles as a sustainable, practical alternative to traditional fuel-powered vehicles. Respondents realize the advantages such as societal impact, fuel efficiency and economic savings. As well as promotions, government aid, and raising awareness can speed up the adoption of hybrid vehicles.
