After the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the textile and clothing industry faces new challenges in the links of the textile chain due to global uncertainty. Setting the view on Peru, the competitiveness of the sector is threatened by imports, which significantly reduce the market share of SMEs. The research aims to optimize the supply chain management of a peruvian textile sector SME. It is proposed to implement a management model that integrates Lean Tools and Production Planning in the company's supply chain. 5S is applied to the production link within the supply chain, as this philosophy focuses on waste reduction within the production process, while, for the rest of the links, VSM and Standardized Work are used, in such a way that it is possible to specify a single procedure deliver the necessary amount at the right time, eliminating inventory. The model is evaluated through the implementation of a pilot test in one of the activities of the process. As a result of the implementation of the proposal considerable improvements are obtained in the company in relation to the key indicators that demonstrate the effectiveness of the combination of these tools.
