The study shed light on the influence of school culture on the characters of the students of Muhammadiyah Junior High School 1 of Ternate City. It aimed at finding out the implementation and the influence of the school culture on the characters of the students of Muhammadiyah Junior High School 1 of Ternate City. It was a correlational study with quantitative method. Its samples were 88 respondents. Data were collected using questionnaire, interview and observation. The data were analyzed using simple regression analysis and descriptive technique with SPSS version 23.00. The resuls showed that the implementation of the culture of the Muhammadiyah Junior High School 1 of Ternate City has strengthened the personal character, the social character and the citizhenship character of the students. It was indicated by the results of the evaluation of the personal character, the social character and the citizehship character of the students, which were in the category of good enough. The total culture coefficient value was 0.651. It might be stated bhat the culture of the school had positive influence on the students, which was categorized as good enough. Thus, it was concluded that there was significant influence of the culture of the school on the characters of the students of the Muhammadiyah Junior High School 1 of Ternate City.
