Virtual learning was widely used during the Covid-19 pandemic. This situation has shown that technology-based learning has been able to overcome the limitations of space and time. Virtual learning has become a solution of educational problems because of Covid-19. However, from the virtual learning it is still found complaints from the community in relation to the effectiveness of online learning. The problem in this study is the obstacles in virtual-based learning in the new normal era. The purpose of this study is to analyze the obstacles of virtual learning in the new normal era. Teachers and students who have performed virtual learning interactions are used as subjects in this study. These barriers are analyzed using a qualitative detective approach using the concepts of learning and learning theory. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the constraints of virtual learning still occur in various elements of learning, such as problems with teachers, learning media, teaching materials, learning evaluations, and on learning interactions
