The work is focused on the study and analysis of the management of maintenance in the industry in general and in particular the transformation of polymeric materials in Cuba, focusing attention on the analysis of the deficiencies that occur in maintenance operations and in the inexistence of a procedure to execute it. The objective was to develop a procedure for the management of maintenance in the industry of transformation of plastic materials in our country.
