The pressure to the construction companies to promote sustainable development is increasing given that construction, buildings and infrastructure are the main consumers of resources such as materials, human and energy. The aim of this paper is to assess the application of lean principles in the local construction industry towards reducing waste, thus contributing to the significant environment and economic benefits.
