Biography

Seon Kim is working at KAERI (Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute) for the R&D of Decontamination and decommissioning of nuclear facilities. Especially, for the decommissioning of nuclear power plant, he is developing “HyBRID full system decontamination” and “complex fluid (foam) decontamination” to be applicable to the reactor coolant system and large area surface decontamination respectively. The HyBRID decontamination only uses inorganic chemicals and thus increases the disposability and foam solution contains nano-particles for the better foam stability.
