Abstract

Fully computer-aided manufacturing or development of new methods with the minimum of production stages for the production of pure semiconductors - one of the most important scientific and technical problem, which solutions are used in metallurgical, chemical and electronical industries. In this work will be reviewed the operation of fully automated installation on the example of silicon production. Purified silicon is used:

  • At productions of electronics
  • At solar cell production.

All major existing enterprises of SOG silicon production use the carbon recovery and emitted large amounts of carbon monoxide. Silicon purification is performed in different ways but they are environmentally hazardous and contain nine production stages, so it is difficult to make fully automatic manufacturing. The aim of this work is to develop a method for production a semiconductor with the quality at least 8N from unprepared (raw) material-silicon oxide, by one installation.
