Abstract
A company's ability to manage supply chain resilience is a valuable consideration, especially during pandemics such as COVID-19. For this reason, researchers are increasingly interested in supply chain resilience, particularly in the manufacturing industry, during emerging situations. This study provides insight into the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on the automotive industry.
This paper examines three years of data from an assembly line that produces 500 cars per day, analyzes the impact of the spread of the virus on the efficiency of the assembly line, and suggests improvements to strengthen the assembly line resilience.
