Abstract
Indonesia’s 5G network deployment has faced challenges that have postponed the target to be available nationwide in 2022. However, with its potential to improve the interconnectivity of the people and increase business efficiency and effectiveness, the government still pushed the deployment of the technology. Therefore, this research aims to better understand these challenges and opportunities by offering the systems perspectives on the adoption of 5G. The study
identified the sub-component and its relationship in developing the ideal 5G network deployment systems using a modified soft system methodology. It also lists recommendations for improvement after comparing the actual and conceptual models.
