The study aims to design a public health information system that will support the Philippine community in general and the Department of Health in its battle against the COVID-19 pandemic. To ensure that the proposed system is timely in its features and effective in user adoption, the paper first leveraged the requirements information from India, the origin of the highly contagious Delta variant, and then benchmarked the innovative COVID-19 solutions and well-adopted applications in the decade of 2020. The result is a potentially faster, more convenient, easier to adopt, and quality data solution that can be reused for upcoming pandemics and be extended for natural disasters.
