Abstract

RFID door lock systems provide a secure and efficient solution for access control, surpassing traditional methods by incorporating advanced technology. This paper introduces a door locking system that combines RFID technology with temperature sensors to enhance security and efficiency. The system verifies the authenticity of RFID tags and measures temperature before allowing access, providing an additional layer of safety. While RFID systems are increasingly adopted in industries such as healthcare, food, logistics, and agriculture, challenges remain, including high costs and privacy concerns. Future developments in this field could include real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, integration with the Internet of Things (IoT), and advanced data analytics. Overcoming these current challenges is essential for broader adoption and to fully unlock the potential of RFID systems in a wide range of industries, improving their functionality and ensuring they remain a trusted method for access control.
