Abstract
Purpose: Many factors impact the development of business performance. This study has the goal to explore the relationship and impact of leadership, creativity management, environmental compliance, organizational innovation, and government support on business performance of both big companies and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
Methodology: In this paper, the quantitative method is carried out.The collecting data will be undertaken by convenience sampling method with 117 valid respondents who are carefully selected from small to large companies in South area of Viet Nam. The data analysis will be conducted by PLS-SEM modeling in this study.
Results: Four factors including leadership, creativity management, organizational innovation, environmental compliance, and government support positively help increase business performance. The use of creativity management and government support has brought an indirect positive influence on business performance through organizational innovation. Furthermore, organizational innovation also largely promotes business performance. At the same time, environmental compliance plays an intermediary role in the positive relationship between leadership and business performance.
Originality: Although researchers are keenly interested in the factors that influence business performance, there have been few empirical studies that investigate the relationship between specific factors that involve leadership, creativity management, organizational innovation, environmental compliance, government support, and business success. This study provides evidence to support these relationships specifically.
