Abstract
Student satisfication is an important goal in any educational institution. The aim of the study is to improve structured
improvement process,Define-Measure-Analysis-Improve-Control(DMAIC) methodology,to improve student
satisfication about their learning experience at the college SCTCE,Thiruvananthapuram. The study began with the
defiintion of the problem and the development of the project charter. Then the process of students learning
experience was usually designed through a modified survey. The analysis results reviewed that there were mainly
four areas of disatisfaction, those were: lack of bloom taxonomy, students lack industrial based support lab,EDC to be
strenghthened, lack of benchmarking of departments. The study emphasize that DMAIC methodology can be applied
