Abstract
This study pioneers a novel approach to fabric analysis, leveraging a digital microscope and AI to examine woven fabrics. The integration of computer vision and machine learning automates the precise detection of patterns, textures, and designs, marking a significant technological leap. Key advancements include high-resolution imaging technologies and the exploration of nanotechnology in fabric design. Augmented Reality (AR) applications redefine the shopping experience, allowing virtual fabric try-outs. Applications of fabric detection are far-reaching. In textile manufacturing, it ensures real-time quality control, while fabric authentication aids luxury brands in combating counterfeits. Sustainability is addressed through efficient textile recycling, and fabric analysis empowers designers in creating innovative patterns. This research underscores the transformative impact of technology on fabric analysis, with applications spanning textile care to virtual try-on experiences, shaping a dynamic future for the textile and fashion industries.
