Abstract

This research project endeavors to introduce a cost-effectiv sssakib08@gmail.com e alert system designed specifically for textile factories, addressing the prevalent challenge of delayed machine fault notification that leads to substantial downtime and diminished operational efficiency. In textile manufacturing, the lag in informing managers and summoning technicians after a machine breakdown significantly hampers prompt issue resolution. To overcome this issue, the project proposes the implementation of an alert system utilizing IoT (Internet of Things) devices and wireless communication technologies to ensure the seamless transmission of real-time alerts. The fault reporting process will be facilitated through a user-friendly interface accessible from the worker's handheld device or a strategically placed control panel near the machine. This initiative is poised to streamline and expedite the notification process, reducing both time and manual labor involved in informing floor operation personnel and technicians about machine faults. In contrast to existing market solutions, the project prioritizes cost-effectiveness in its implementation strategy. It is important to note that automatic fault detection falls outside the scope of this project, emphasizing the focus on a pragmatic and economical approach to enhancing machine maintenance alert systems in textile factories.
