Abstract
This study uses the Data Envelopment Analysis method to examine the health sector's performance efficiency. The study measures the efficiency of three departments of 6 public and five private hospitals in Kuwait's health sector. DEA method with Constant return to Scale (CRS), Variable return to Scale (VRS), and scale efficiency were used to estimate public and private hospitals' technical and managerial efficiency regarding staff, doctors, health services, and the number of patients indicators.
