Abstract

In this paper a pressure vessel model developed via Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) machine. Submerged arc welding (SAW) machine was discovered in the year 1935 by Rothermund and Jones, Kennedy. SAW could be operated in semi-automatic mode and automatic mode. The operation of the SAW machine generally could be done in automatic mode. Therefore, the welding method by using the SAW machine is fixed and extremely adaptable. A layer of powdered transition creates an ensuring gas shield just as a slag to secure the weld locale. The bend can be lowered underneath the transition layer.

For the manufacturer shall have an obligation for all equipment design. On the manufacturing processes the regulations of the health and safety standard have to be followed properly. The manufacturer should make sure that the pressure equipment as manufactured, modified, tested, inspected or repaired is safe and it does not have risk on health when it is properly used. However, the regulation subject the manufacturer should issues the certificate of manufacturing for all pressure equipment suppliers, with a verification signature by the approved inspection author when as required. The train pressure vessel has been designed to contain the fluid under a design pressure 50Kpa.

The storage vessel that has design pressure of about 50kpa it is regulated. The transportable gas container is not called pressure vessel. The process heating equipment of the steam or hot water generation shall be defined as pressure vessel. When it comes to the manufacturing quality all the regulation should be followed properly according to the health and safety regulation for ISO9001:2015. As results of following all the pressure equipment regulations the manufacturing process would be good. Note according to the pressure equipment regulation the saturated steam and superheated steam classified as substances.

According to the research the welding current, voltages, and travel speed it significant affected the tensile strength and the hardness. However, the first factor welding current of about 260,270 and 280 amperes were used for the investigation. The high density were discover and resulted has been increased in material tensile strength and hardness. The welding condition conducted in good way and each condition was tested a total of three times by using full factories design.  When it comes to the results of submerging the pressure vessel all the components parts aligned properly, there was no misalignment that could be happened.
