Abstract
Before putting a satellite into orbit, different types of tests must be performed to increase the probability of success of the mission. One of these tests is the thermal vacuum test, for which a thermal vacuum chamber is needed. In this project to build a thermal vacuum chamber, part of the project is to verify if the available materials are adequate to withstand the imposed conditions, since access to them is difficult. This article presents two methods to verify the suitability of a stainless steel tube, corresponding to the maximum diameter and thickness available, presenting the results of the study.
