This paper presents the design of an assessment Escape Room, crafted as a gamified simulation to assess players' knowledge and skills in the field of project management. Utilizing the Design-Play-Experience (DPE) and the Octalysis frameworks, the activity comprises four sequential challenges addressing the triple constraint of project management that consists of Scope, Time and Cost Management as well as the Stakeholders and Risk Management knowledge areas. The various stages of the game are designed to assess technical and problem-solving skills, while simultaneously promoting communication and collaboration among the players. The storyline aims to enhance the players' immersion in the game and simulate the pressure experienced by professionals in high-pressure management scenarios. This project contributes to the growing field of gamified educational and evaluation methods, effectively bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in project management.
