Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is essential for managing the economic, social and environmental impacts of business activities. However, integrating CSR practices remains a challenge for SMEs due to their short-term vision and uncertain perception of the associated economic benefits. This research focuses on manufacturing SMEs, examining how they can better integrate CSR practices despite their limited resources. The main objective of this study is to facilitate the integration of CSR practices within manufacturing SMEs by proposing a grid of specific indicators and an IT tool to assess and improve their CSR performance. The methodology used includes: i) a systematic literature review to identify relevant CSR indicators for manufacturing SMEs, ii) interviews with experts to validate the relevance of selected indicators, iii) a Multi-criteria evaluation of CSR performance and iv) design and implementation of a computerized self-diagnostic tool. The research led to two contributions: a CSR indicator grid specific to manufacturing SMEs, validated by experts, and a computerized prototype enabling SME managers to measure their company's CSR maturity, identify strengths and weaknesses, and define improvement strategies. This research offers a practical approach to strengthening the CSR engagement of SMEs. By providing appropriate indicators and an assessment tool, it facilitates the alignment of SME practices with recognized standards and industry expectations, thereby maximizing the positive impacts of their activities on the economy, society and the environment.
