This study explores how Lean and JIT practices advance Sustainable Development Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), which aims to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns to protect the planet and promote resource efficiency within spare parts management, specifically in defense logistics. Through using a quantitative survey method and multiple regression analysis of 30 Ministry of Defense professionals, the research identifies the key drivers and barriers to sustainable operations. Results show that leadership, TPM, and employee involvement significantly boost sustainability performance. However, unpredictable demand and limited digital integration remain the most significant challenges to achieving a fully optimized, waste-free supply chain.
