Engineering education faces a persistent challenge in adequately preparing students for the evolving demands of technology. Traditional curricula often prioritize theoretical knowledge over practical skills, leaving graduates ill-prepared for industry requirements. This disparity has led to a proposed shift towards results-driven curricula aimed at equipping students with industry-relevant competencies. Current programs often prioritize content delivery over experiential learning, resulting in blurred curriculum scopes and inadequate preparation for industry needs. In e-learning and distance education settings, this disconnect can be particularly pronounced, as students may acquire knowledge without developing practical skills. To address this gap, qualitative case studies are being used to develop engineering-focused curricula that prioritize tangible outcomes and clear teaching strategies. By emphasizing practical experience and aligning curriculum goals with industry demands, these approaches aim to better prepare graduates for success in the engineering field. This research adopts a qualitative research approach to explore and explain the process of preparing students for industry requirements. The result is a teaching technique that enables personalized adaptive learning.
