The rate of economic growth is largely influenced by the expansion of the industrial world, not just in the Philippines but also globally. As we go into the modern day, the economy is growing at a very quick pace, and there is increasing competition among economic players. Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is an inventory management system that involves sequentially applying techniques to develop and identify specific inventory and material requirements for each company's production components. This ensures that product delivery is appropriate and efficient. Implementing MRP as material management helps companies and organizations increase productivity and reduce inventory significantly. SWID Mfg. Inc. has been experiencing a great loss in terms of raw material purchasing cost and spoilage since 2021 due to inconsistent customer forecasts and a poor procurement and inventory management system in the organization. The main objective of this study is to help the management establish material procurement system through the implementation of Material Requirements Planning. The study also aims to determine which forecasting method is best for helping the procurement section in ordering management and material calculation. To ensure that the user only uses one application to record all relevant information, such as the customer's forecast, material ordering, receiving, and manufacturing consumption, the researcher also provided an inventory management system using Visual Basic for Applications, where the calculation was incorporated. Upon implementing the system, the company was able to save by reducing material purchase costs, procurement process fees, and raw material spoilage.
