The objective of this research was to reduce the manufacturing times of baffles by simulating the application of Lean and SLP tools in a company of the metalworking sector. For this purpose, an experimental and simulated applied improvement design (pre-test and post-test) with a structure of four consecutive phases, strategically validated by experts, was used. The main findings revealed significant improvements in four key indicators, mainly in reducing baffle manufacturing time by 24.17% and increasing the percentage of orders delivered on time by 10%. The contribution of this research is focused on benefiting other companies in the metalworking industry that seek to improve their processes and increase their competitiveness. It serves as a basis for future lines of research in which other areas within the manufacturing process of industrial equipment can be explored, demonstrating the effectiveness of the tools mentioned above.
