Amidst the severe changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, the modern world has continued to thrive digitally, yet rural populations remain on the periphery due to limited digital literacy. The inability to understand government welfare programs creates barriers that exclude these communities from benefits designed to enhance their quality of life. To address this, Yojana Setu, a multilingual and user-friendly application, has been developed to bridge the accessibility gap. Unlike existing platforms focused primarily on direct application submissions, Yojana Setu emphasizes awareness generation, eligibility guidance, and trust-building. The application customizes features based on region, gender, language, and income level while integrating an AI-driven assistant for personalized help. Developed using Figma prototypes and basic frameworks, the model was tested among 10 users with positive feedback: “Very easy to use; I finally understood which schemes I qualify for,” said Ramesh, 42. Yojana Setu operates free of cost through grants and donations, thereby transforming complex government programs into simple, inclusive opportunities for empowerment. This innovation addresses Digital Transformation, Industry 4.0, and IoT as well as Entrepreneurship and Innovation, showcasing a sustainable, scalable solution for inclusive governance.
