Aluminium is an excellent choice as the base material for pans, but aluminum pots may have some quality issues. Here, we aim to examine the various factors that affect the quality of aluminium pots in the Indian manufacturing Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). Key factors identified are variations in Weight of the pot, Thermal conductivity, Durability of the pot, Scratch resistance, Corrosion resistance, Appearance of the pot, Convenient to handle, Hygienically Safe, Availability of raw materials Affordability, Tensile Strength, Water Proofing, Inertness, Recyclability, Thermal shock, Malleability. To enhance the quality of aluminum pots, stakeholders in the aluminum industry can avoid quality issues through suitable methodologies. This review provides crucial information for optimizing the production process and improving the overall quality of aluminum products. Avoiding quality issues improves the efficiency and productivity of the aluminum pot manufacturing industry. This study also analyzed the important stages of aluminium pot manufacturing and the machines involved in production process. It helps in developing the customer language required for Fuzzy enabled Maintenance Quality function deployment (FMQFD) analysis. Both customer and technical languages are used to develop a model aimed at improving quality and productivity of these SMEs with zero investment.
