In today’s dynamic business environment, software project success hinges not only on technical execution but also on strategic alignment, customer satisfaction, and measurable value delivery. This paper introduces the Integrated Risk Management, Customer Success Management, and Value-Driven KPIs (IRMC-V) framework—an interdisciplinary model designed to address the limitations of traditional project methodologies. IRMC-V unifies risk management, customer success planning, and performance measurements across the full software deployment lifecycle. It supports early identification and mitigation of project risks, aligns development with customer adoption needs, and incorporates key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROI, CSAT, and time-to-value (TTV) from inception through steady-state operations. The paper synthesizes current literature on software project failure factors, customer lifecycle engagement, and business outcome metrics, highlighting the need for an integrated approach. IRMC-V is mapped to six actionable project phases—Define, Plan and Design, Build and Validate, Complete and Deploy, Rollout, and Usage—with a continuous improvement loop. Application of this framework enhances cross-functional alignment, real-time decision-making, and long-term customer value realization. The IRMC-V model offers practical benefits in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid environments and has been piloted in industrial software deployments to validate its utility. This framework positions organizations to not just launch software successfully, but to sustain adoption, maximize impact, and ensure continuous strategic alignment.
