Higher education is an evolutionary context demonstrating continuously new engaging expectations to boost the educational system’s performance and improve its quality and adaptability to current professional needs.
Health care and nursing programs main objective is to develop the theoretical and practical scope of the technical and soft skills to meet the latest health care sector requirements. Therefore, many challenges are facing students and the academic staff as well within the emergence of Artificial Intelligence tools and digitalized systems raising new questions and addressing new learning methodologies. Simulation of diverse clinical situations in an interactive way could enhance the practical learning via the virtual care experience bringing closer the professional environment and allowing to detect and manage student mistakes and observed deviations before the real experience. The AI deployment is effectively bringing out a new pedagogical framework that should balance and optimize the use of AI and digital tools to serve learning purposes without flowing over other real nursing practices or real trainings.
