Background: Self-medication can be risky, particularly in growing markets where healthcare access is limited. Self-medication leads individual’s managing their own medication, which can lead to mistakes. A smart solution presented by AI powered mobile health apps helping users to manage their medications safely and accurately.
Objective: It aims to explore public perception of AI for safe self-medication.
Methodology:14 questions were asked through a survey. One key question was there asking respondents if they believe AI could improve medication management.
Results: The survey results showed that 82.1% of people agreed and 14.3% strongly agreed which indicates the strong trust in AI powered mobile apps which will prevent self-medication risks and make self-medication safer.
Conclusion: Furthermore, these analyses suggest that AI powered mobile apps can reduce risks of self-medication by improving how people follow prescriptions and instructions. This study is important particularly in places, for example emerging markets where health care services are limited or harder to access.
