Background/Introduction: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and ovarian cysts are increasingly common health issues globally, affecting the physical and mental well-being of women. In Bangladesh, the prevalence of these conditions seems to be growing, yet there is limited research addressing their impact.
Objectives: This study investigates the symptoms, challenges, and experiences of Bangladeshi women with PCOS and various ovarian cysts. The research aims to highlight the increasing trends and anticipate the broader implications of these conditions.
Methods: Data was gathered from some affected women through a Google Form survey, focusing on symptoms.. Demographic details, marital status, family history, and treatment status were also captured. Clinical data is yet to be included to ensure more comprehensive results.
Expected Outcomes: This study expects to show how PCOS and ovarian cysts are increasingly affecting younger women in Bangladesh, disrupting their quality of life and causing long-term complications. Incorporating clinical data will strengthen the findings, enabling better awareness, diagnosis, and treatment approaches.
Conclusion: Although final results are pending, this research underscores the urgent need for greater awareness, early intervention, and targeted healthcare solutions to address the growing prevalence of PCOS and ovarian cysts in Bangladesh.
