In the current unstable global economy, supply chain resilience (SCR) is essential for ensuring business continuation during disruptions. This study aims to identify and prioritize barriers to supply chain resilience (SCR) within the Bangladeshi food industry, a sector that has traditionally had difficulties due to inadequate resilience frameworks. This research utilizes the Fuzzy Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to the Ideal Solution (Fuzzy TOPSIS) to model the interrelationships among significant barriers, incorporating expert insights to provide a definitive hierarchy of barriers. The findings underscore the "non-availability of a cross-multi-tasking workforce" as the primary barrier, severely impacting the supply chain's flexibility and capacity to respond to disruptions. Furthermore, barriers such as "increased product stock time" were identified as impactful, but to a lower degree. This study presents a strategy framework to tackle these difficulties and delivers practical insights to improve SCR, especially in emerging markets such as Bangladesh. These findings are significant for practitioners and policymakers, endorsing proactive initiatives to enhance SCR and alleviate future risks.
