The validation scenario was carried out in a case study focusing on a micro-enterprise in the textile sector located in Peru. The company specialized in producing clothing items for medical personnel, such as jackets and pants, with the polar fleece jacket being its main product, accounting for 75% of total sales. The enterprise employed nine workers, six in operational roles and three in administrative positions, but struggled with significant operational inefficiencies. The challenges included delays in fulfilling customer orders, which resulted in annual losses of over 45,000 soles. The primary issues identified were inefficient work methods, accounting for 78% of low production efficiency, along with poor ergonomic conditions and an unoptimized plant layout, which contributed to 17% of the problem. To address these issues, the research aimed to implement a comprehensive solution combining Lean Manufacturing, Systematic Layout Planning (SLP), and ergonomic improvements to streamline the production process and reduce inefficiencies.
