The study highlights a theoretical problem concerning the need for more emphasis on sustainability in Smart Supply Chain research, primarily due to challenges in integrating the two domains. Smart Supply Chain prioritizes productivity, quality, and flexibility, while sustainability focuses on sustainable development encompassing economic, social, and environmental aspects. Recognizing this discrepancy, the study aimed to identify prevalent concepts at the intersection of sustainability and Smart Supply Chain. To achieve this objective, the researchers employed Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) and LDA Mallet to analyze recently published articles in this area. The LDA Mallet results revealed distinct research directions that can be pursued. These research lines offer valuable insights for academic exploration and practical implementation in the supply chains. They can inform the development of new projects and serve as a foundation for frameworks and roadmaps promoting sustainable digital development, technological innovation, and sustainability within smart supply chains.
