More than 60% of Indians are no in the 15-59 age bracket, which is known as the ‘Demographic Dividend’ in India. India is now in the demographic transition period. Before India to benefit from this dividend, the economy must be able to provide enough job opportunities to productively absorb this economically active population. The Indian government has implemented several job-generating programmes, including “Skill India,” which aims to train over 40 crore people by 2022, whether via entrepreneurship or paid employment. To encourage young people to establish their own businesses and create jobs, the Indian government has launched ‘Start-up India,’ a programme designed to help start-ups succeed. Because young people are often the driving force behind new ideas and inventions, they provide a rich source of potential employees for businesses. This paper aims to assess start-up India as well as other government flagship programmes like Make in India, Digital India, Skill India, and others, which have been launched by the Indian government in order to assist the growth and development of Tribal Youth of TSP region of Southern Rajasthan.
