Now a day’s electric three wheeler vehicles are running in the roads of Bangladesh and other developing countries in large numbers. Among these electric three wheeler vehicles, conventional rickshaw turned into electric vehicles have become popular in Bangladesh recently. However, one of the major problems for the drivers of such electric vehicles is to comfortably put their feet. This paper addresses this issue and describes the design and construction of an ergonomically footrest. It is hoped that this ergonomical footrest will provide comfort to the drivers.
