The developed framework for submittal review process during construction divided the evaluation parameters for any submitted item into two groups: fixable and non-fixable. Based on the framework, the submittal evaluation system was developed using the Multi Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) to provide a quantitative measure for any minor change in the fixable parameters. (Sherbini & Hegazy, 2014) This paper is improving the developed submittal evaluation system to consider the LEED requirements evaluation. It is also analyzing additional key submittal item that is “lighting fixture” and developing its evaluation criteria using MAUT. The workability of the system will be demonstrated using real-time case study date for a factory lighting fixture submittal.
