Nowadays, because of volume huge of data, computerized systems have been used as an effective and useful tool for control the maintenance process. Computers have high capability in storing, retrieval, calculating, and information organizing and effective and detailed reporting at minimum time. Computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) is a tool for integrated management of maintenance system.
In this paper, brief history of CMMS and its benefits will be explained. Next, a framework will develop for implementation this system in Morvarid Petrochemical Company (M.P.Co.). M.P.CO. is located in petrochemical 2nd phase in Assalouyeh-Iran and its main product is Ethylene.
