This study aims to provide a study on developing and implementing global business strategies in the outdoor gear companies, based on a comparative study between two companies producing outdoor gear. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative analysis approach. Data collection uses primary data and secondary data approach techniques. Data collection was done using search engine (google and scholar google) by typing the keywords "Eigerindo" and "Recreational Equipment Inc"; and the secondary data related to company profile and business strategies. The analysis is obtained by referring to the strategic management of two companies that implement global business strategies to obtain above-average returns. This study discusses the resources, capabilities, competitive advantages, attractive industries, formulation and implementation of strategies of the two companies. This study is a comparative analysis based on case studies, so conclusions may be difficult to generalize. By conducting this research, it is hoped that it can provide recommendations on what companies that want to develop a business in the fashion brand field can learn, especially the backpack industry. Managers can study the strategies adopted by both companies to obtain above-average return in the global market successfully.
