Limpopo is the hottest Province in South Africa and it has less percentage of rain to fill up the dams and rivers. There is a higher chance for the communities to run short of water because the used water is not recycled. The villages use pit toilets, therefore, it becomes difficult to have a water recycling plant. The purpose of this study is to model the water supply chain to determine the solution for water delivery in rural areas. System dynamic model is developed using the Vensim software. The system is simulated to develop a solution to water crise in the province. The systems dynamics modelling is discussed herein. The Vensim Model was developed to capture the interaction between the source of water, water treatment plant, water recycling, potable water transmission, commercial and domestic water portable distribution. The results show that the building of infrastructure for portable water without recycling plant, will partially solve the crisis of water shortage.   The recycling plant is found to be helpful in saving water for future purpose.
