Industrial Engineering (IE) is a branch of Engineering that pursues organisational efficiency through methods improvement and resource-saving. The world as a whole is now anxious about the environment, this suggests that the next evolution of Industrial Engineering will include subjects on greener manufacturing. The paper examines how Industrial Engineering (IE) and Environmental Sustenance ideas may be applied to the Zimbabwean industry and the benefits that can be drawn from this application in order to improve the operations in Zimbabwean Industries.
