This paper presents an advancement of an academic computer-aided design software system tool for the shell and tube heat exchanger project. The project is teaching a Visual Basic, user-friendly Application (VBA) programming in chemical engineering at Elmergib University with a focus on a unit operation project selected from chemical engineering design core courses.
