SMEs as one of the economic sectors that make a major contribution to the country have many weaknesses and one of the weaknesses of SMEs is human resource management. Human resources information system is a solution for SMEs to manage their human resources, but cost constraints are a strong reason for SMEs not to use human resource information systems. This research aims to help SMEs apply human resources information systems based on open source and cloud computing. The research method uses qualitative data by conducting observations and interviews to get SMEs' needs for a system that supports human resource management.
