The purpose of this research study is to produce knowledge around specific personal competence building that is also applicable outside the research settings and on new subjects. Furthermore, the findings of this study will have implications for competency development activity design, and its implementation within the industry. The researcher will assess the population to identify which Unit of Personal Competence they lack in the most, design a workshop with the help of Subject-Matter Experts specially tailored for their needs, and do a comparison of their pre- and post-workshop assessment. The findings of this study will help Project Management instructors and industry mentors to make well-informed decisions regarding competency building and performance, and contribute to the benefits of society since good project management practices has become indispensable in this day and age, and industry is in greater demand of competent Project Management graduates.
