Abstract:

The environmental impact of inputs used in the wine sector is very poorly documented. The wine sector and industrial activities adjacent accompanying seem overly voracious inputs compared to other agricultural activities.
The wine sector known to drain a high employment flows in agricultural; it is also one of the most concerned with the issue of agricultural sustainability.
 So two questions are posed by the demand for inputs:
Is she justified in comparison with its economic and social importance?
Is she managed according to appropriate technical standards?
Our research tries to estimate the carbon footprint and water production products and by-products of wine activities to evaluate its role in global climate change linked to anthropogenic activities and  parallel to determine equally the negative role vitivinicultural effluents discharged into nature and watercourses and possible risk of groundwater pollution.
