Research on Humanitarian logistics and Supply chain management has not been very comprehensive. It is still growing and one can note a few gaps. It has mainly dwelt upon adapting pointers that can be noted in private/commercial sector logistics and figuring out how they can be in cooperated into Humanitarian supply chains. This was an exploitative research aiming to compare lessons learnt from within.
